Türkiye extended the safeguard measure for the third period against to the PSF originating in Iran
"The Evaluation Committee of Trade Protection Measures has decided to implement a safeguard measure in the form of safeguard duty for a period of 3 (three) years for the import of polyester fibers classified under the Customs Tariff Statistical Position (CTSP) 5503.20.00.00.00, which are referred to as "polyesters," originating from Iran. The safeguard duty is determined as follows: first year at 17%, the second year at 16.5%, and the third year at 16%. It has been decided to recommend to the Presidency for the imposition of the measure, and the measure has been implemented in accordance with the decision of the Presidential Decree numbered 7615. This duty measure came into effect on September 21, 2023."
